The 4th WCMH&D is next week

After many months of the planning and anticipation, I can now say that we looking forward to seeing you all next week!Whilst we are making sure all the finishing touches are seen to , we trust you are ensuring your registrations are all paid-up and your packing list is ready to go!Only a few seats now remain for the Gala Dinner, make sure you don't missout. After seeing Deaf Can Dance's rehearsal yesterday, I am sure it will leave a lasting impression for all that are lucky enough to see it for themselves!!  read more »

Congress now only weeks away!

As today is the 1st day of October, we can now say that this Congress is happening this month! There is plenty happening behind the scenes to make it the best event it can be. With so much on offer, seats for the Gala Dinner are filling-up fast, as are the seats for the 2 nights of Professional Development sessions. Both feature amazing speakers and material that are sure to strike a chord with delegates on many different levels. Our international speakers are on their way, the official program is about to go to print, the performers are rehursing.....all that we need now is YOU.  read more »

Our Petra - honored with a Disability Action Award!

Congratulations to Petra Svab, for receiving an award from Queensland Disability Services Minister Annastacia Palaszczuk this week, 15 September 2009. Petra was honoured for improving the quality of life for people with a disability at a Disability Action Awards ceremony in Brisbane.  read more »

Community Workshops - getting the conversations started

It's certainly an exciting time, leading-up the the 4th World Congress on Mental Health and Deafness in October. It's also heartening to continue to receive great feedback about the community workshops, Petra has been delivering across the nation this year.
