Papers
Successful papers will be allocated either keynote presentation (45 minutes and 15 minutes question time (1 hour total), or parallel presentation of 25 minutes with 10 minutes for questions (35 minutes in total). Papers should have a maximum word limit of 5000 words including references and abstract.

Poster
Poster presentations will be reviewed by our panel and allocated a position in a designated poster room; viewing of posters has been timetabled between 1-2.30pm each day.

Preference will be given to papers that:
a. Contribute new research to the body of knowledge on mental health and deafness.
b. Reflect the congress theme, ‘A Life to be lived’, with a focus on connectedness throughout life stages, including infants and children, adolescents, adults and the elderly.

Registration
It is a requirement that all presenters have fully paid registrations.

Cancellations & Refunds of Registration Fees

  • Before to 14 August 2009, cancellations will incur a penalty fee equal to 10% of the total amount paid.
  • From 14 August 2009 until 29 September 2009, cancellations will incur a penalty fee equal to 20% of total amount paid.
  • After close of business 12 October 2009, any cancellations will not be refunded.

Please note, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organisation with no penalty costs however notice must be provided in writing to the Congress Organiser by 29/09/2009.
